Ocular Films is a Wellington based company passionate about new media. Our aim is to produce quality pieces that stand up to scrutiny. Shot selection, high definition video and interesting story-lines set our products apart.

Documentary

Research and interviews underpin a thoughtful edit that offers a deeper perspective and historical insights. Productions are shot on high definition digital video (HDV) or Digital Video (DV) and are carefully composed to tell a story. Narration, music and sound are added to complete the package.

Fiction

A creative and planned approach is taken to crafting a story. Careful lighting and location selection and a range of post-production effects are used to tell without over-powering the narrative.

Learning

We work with Educational Designers and Subject Matter Experts to tailor a solution that meets the learning objectives of the project. Typical learning tools include online, DVDs or CD ROM media to support the learning framework developed by the educational design team.
