TEC engaged Ocular to explore with employers what materials and tools would assist them to recruit, retain and grow staff. Research was also required to identify how employers want access to the resources.
Ocular formed a working group of industry stakeholders and Engineering e2e Steering Group members from business and government. This working group consulted employers and key stakeholders to refine the needs of the industry and propose options for delivering solutions to the industry.
Based on the findings and recommendations from the working group, the Engineering e2e Steering Group committed to the engineering employer portal development and promotion in conjunction with Business NZ.
